Before Christianity, many cultures celebrated spring festivals honoring rebirth and fertility. Key influences include:
Eostre/Ostara: A Germanic goddess associated with spring and dawn, possibly inspiring the name "Easter."
Pagan Fertility Symbols: Eggs and rabbits, ancient symbols of new life, were later incorporated into Easter traditions.
Today, Easter is celebrated worldwide with:
